MICRO CELL - A nail product that should be hyped!

Hello ladies and lads,

There are so many products out there that are being hyped by numbers of youtubers and bloggers. Some are worth the hype others aren't. Yet I frequently stumble across breathtaking and awesome products that surely are worth a hype but are totally left out. So here comes my "let's start a hype" about it nail brand that I swear will change your nails!

A few posts ago I showed you my hand care routine. In that post I already talked about one of the products from the German brand Micro Cell the Nail Repair Nail Polish. I can only repeat what I said back then. Thanks to that polish my fingernails are hard as stone, look perfectly and grow beautifully. Although you should really combine that with a nail oil you protect your skin with. But that is not the only product of Microcell worth blogging about.
After the success of my nail rescue I bought the Micro Cell Color Repair polish to see if it's the same quality and it was. The color is a nude, dark dusky pink. One layer of it is extremely covering, it dries really fast too and in my opinion it stays on longer than most products.

Then today I was in the drugstore again stumbling over a new lacquer they brought out called the Nail Wonder. The label said following: color renewal, instant dryer, sealer, groove filler and clear polish. Sounds like a jack of all trades device. So my curiosity pushed me to buy it. I was a little suspicious. I tried out many lacquers that promised a lot which they unfortunately didn't satisfy. With that thought in the back of my head I tried it. The test: using it as a base coat, layering it with an Essie polish Thigh High and top coating it with the same lacquer as the base.
And the result is unbelievable. It dries ultimately fast. The Essie polish fit it perfectly and dried even faster when I applied the top coat. Plus no bubbles appeared which I tend to get a lot. So again, Micro Cell saved the day. Only downside to each of the products is the price with 13 Euros but - it's so worth it. And unfortunately they only have a little range of colors. Help that brand develop, make a hype where it's worth it and enjoy your beautiful nails!

The Sunny Winter Look

Hello Ladies and of course all the Lads!

I know I said I would take a break until February but since learning is doing great and I felt the urge to write, well here I am!

Today I will show you which products I used to create this look. Why call it "Sunny Winter Look"? Well since the cold hasn't been kicking in this winter and it almost feels like Spring I thought of a make-up that catches this years winter. Have fun and enjoy reading!

First off the make-up:

As a foundation I used the Priori Mineral Powder in the lightest shade. Since I just wrote about it a post before I will leave out a description otherwise this post would get out of hand. Secondary I put on the Maybelline EverFresh Concealer in the colour light beige. For a concealer of this quality the price is really good. It takes away the dark circles, blends in well with the skin and works perfect for me. I bet there are better ones but I re-buyed it two times already and I can't complain. As a blush I used Benefit Sugarbomb. Hands down this is my all time favourite blush. With the four different colours it gives your cheeks a beautiful glow as if the sun itself stroked it.

Next up the eyes:

For the lashes I used the Beauty Insider Volume Mascara from P2 in the colour splashing blue. For emphasizing the blue pigments of the mascara I draw a line over my upper lashes with the Basic eyeliner in a nice royal blue tone. The brows were slightly darkened by the Essence eyebrow designer pen in the colour brown. For the bottom waterline I used the Flomar waterproof eyeliner in white. As for the eyelid I used the NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette in nude colors named Catwalk.

I love, love, love this eyeshadow palette! The eyeshadow is perfectly pigmented, good to blend and all colours are a little shiny. For this look I used the beige tone in the middle of the bottom row for the lid and the brown tone with a hint of gold up in the right corner of the upper row for the outer eye fold.

The lips:

For the basis colour of the lips I used my beloved Chanel Lipstick in the colour Interlude. It's peachy and smells heavenly. To give my lips a voluminous final touch I briefly dabbed on a layer of the Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss Grapefruit Blast.

I hope you had fun reading my post! Until next time.

My December Beauty Favourites

Hello my great readership! Happy New Year to all of you!

This article will be in English to see if I can spread my writing over a few borders and give more people the chance to read my blog! I hope you will enjoy it!

I will start off with the one thing making this winter a lot better and filmier. The summer had a huge bunch of fresh and breathtaking fragrances followed by some softer and powdery smells in autumn. Yet on a Christmas presents haul I came across Prada Candy in my favourite perfumery. One sniff was enough to persuade me. The caramel note mixed with a warm woody basis is the ultimate christmas time parfume. It reminds me of sugar coated apple by the fireside and I really don't want to miss that fragrance anymore!

The next product I really loved this December was a present by my best friend for Christmas. A lot of bloggers have already reviewed this lipstick yet I haven't tried it until then. The lipstick I am talking about is the Maybelline Baby Lips in the colour Peach Kiss. Not only the smell of it is delicious even the finish makes my lips look moisturized and soft with a hint of colour. For the rather low price it is in high competition with the Chubby Stick from Clinique which lacks the delicious smell and the nice finish. All in all great price, great lipstick!

And this is how it looks put on:

From the lips to the nails! This time it's not just one nail polish but a whole bunch of them. Since December includes Christmas and New Year (well last sort of) it had to be more than one special nail polish! For Christmas I wore a black base from Manhatten to top it with the OPI Oy - Another Polish Joke! Nail Laquer. Both assort well with each other and give you an unique look.

The next nail polish favourite was the colour toogle to the top by Essie. It's a darker red mildly purple glitter nail lacquer I wore on New Year. It lasted forever and looked beautiful!

The last top product of the month is an insiders' tip for people with problematic skin that don't react too well to fluid makeup. The Perfecting Foundation by Priori. It's a loose powder you apply in circles with the matching brush. It contains the extract of Coffee Berry which is said to be a powerful antioxidant. The powder also has a SPF of 25 which makes it a good companion for the summer also. I love the way it makes the skin look natural and beautiful with a very light healthy shimmer. I use the powder with the mineral powder foundation brush by Artdeco. I think they go together very well and the hair is soft and captures the perfect amount of powder for applying.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my blog! I would love to know if you would rather read this in English or German next time! You can leave your comments below!

Until next time!
